Resolutions passed at the July 11-13, 2012 Assembly
1. Resolution in reference to Metropolitan Jonah
Whereas Metropolitan Jonah of the Orthodox Church in America gave us his Episcopal presence at the organization of the Anglican Church in North America in Bedford, Texas, 2009,
And whereas Metropolitan Jonah in his opening address committed the OCA to renewed ecumenical dialogue between Orthodoxy and the Anglican Way in North America,
And whereas Metropolitan Jonah has indeed helped to launch ecumenical dialogues, by giving, encouraging, and participating in the important work begun between the OCA and ACNA over the last three years, conducted at Orthodox and Anglican sites, including the seminaries Nashotah House and St. Vladimir’s
Therefore be it resolved at this FIFNA Assembly at Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, IL, 2012, that we offer our thankfulness and appreciation to his Beatitude for his courageous, godly, loving and generous leadership, pledging our prayers for him and his continued ministry in the Lord’s Kingdom.
Moved by Committee. Motion Passed

3. Resolution in reference to FIF/UK
FIFNA at their Annual Assembly in Belleville welcomes the presence of representatives of both FIF/UK and the Anglican Association, and is grateful for their valuable contribution to their discussions;
They would also request the representatives, on their return, to convey their gratitude both to the Association and to FIF/UK for the contributions they have made in the following matters:
• Their generous support in making this visit possible;
• Holding together those who seek to safeguard the Faith once revealed from the depredations of those who are seeking (knowingly or otherwise) to modify it beyond recognition;
• Their encouragement of the co-operation between Catholics and Evangelicals, particularly in the General Synod;
• Their publications, notably New Directions, Consecrated Women, Restoring the Anglican Mind, and Is the Ordinariate for You? All of which have contributed to clarifying people’s thinking.
FIFNA hope that FIF/UK will continue to work together with them in making this relationship a significant factor in the growth of righteousness and true holiness within the Anglican Communion.
Moved by Committee. Motion Passed.
